TESIS: ANALISIS PENGARUH USIA PERKAWINAN TERHADAP PEMBENTUKAN KETAHANAN KELUARGA (Studi di Kecamatan Lasusua, Kabupaten Kolaka Utara)
The main problem in this study was analyzing the effect of marital age on the
building of family resilience. In order to be more specific, sub-problems were
formulated, namely: 1) how did the age of marriage affect the formation of family
resilience in Lasusua District, North Kolaka Regency?; and 2) how was Law No. 16
of the Year pertaining to Marriage implemented in Lasusua District, North Kolaka
Regency?
This study was applied mix method (mix methods), with combination models
of sequental explanatory design (a mixture of quantitative and qualitative by
prioritizing quantitative and then qualitative methods), a normative theological
approach, an invitation to use a statutory approach, and a sociological approach. This
study used Observation, interviews with the head of the KUA of Lasusua District, the
head of the Lasusua subdistrict, the head of the North Kolaka BKKBN, the head of the
North Kolaka PPPA Office, and mass organizations including MUI, Muhammadiyah,
and North Kolaka NU, documentation and questionnaires to gain the data. Then the
data analyzed by several steps namely, data reduction, data display, and conclusion
drawing, while quantitative data was processed and analyzed using a straightforward
linear regression test.
The results of this study indicated that 1) Marriage age had a significant effect
on the formation of family resilience in Lasusua District, North Kolaka Regency, as
indicated by the results of the tcount > ttable analysis, with a tcount value of 6.559 and a
significance value of 0.0000.05; consequently, ho was rejected and ha was accepted.
The coefficient of determination of variable X on variable Y was 60.6%, indicating
that the creation of family resilience in Lasusua District, North Kolaka Regency was
influenced by the age of marriage, and the remainder being influenced by the other
factors. 2) The Marriage Law No. 16 of 2019 has been implemented in Lasusua
District, North Kolaka Regency, although not optimally owing to a lack of cooperation
between connected parties, economic circumstances, and people's habits.
The implication of this study were, 1) all of the participation must to involved
and collaborate to reduce the occurrence of underage marriages; 2) The government
should provide guidance and training to the community regarding the significance of
maintaining family resilience, which will have a long-term impact on family survival,
and pay close attention to the phenomenon of underage marriage.
