TESIS:The Implementation of 2013 Curriculum Management at SDN 394 Sakkoli, Sajoanging District, Wajo Regency
The main problem of this thesis is how the implementation of 2013 curriculum
management at SDN 394 Sakkoli, Sajoanging District, Wajo Regency.The aims of this
research are: (1) to explore general description of the implementation of 2013 curriculum
management at SDN 394 Sakkoli, Sajoanging District, Wajo Regency;(2) to identify the
opportunities and the challenges of the implementation of 2013 curriculum management at
SDN 394 Sakkoli, Sajoanging District, Wajo Regency;(3) to identify the efforts done to solve
the challenges of the implementation of 2013 curriculum management at SDN 394 Sakkoli,
Sajoanging District, Wajo Regency.
This is a qualitative descriptive research using phenomenology and sociology as
methods while pedagogy, formal juridical, and psychology used as scientific approach. Data
were taken from the school principal and teachers of SDN 394 Sakkoli. Data collected
through interview, participative observation, documentation, and library study. The data
analysis techniques used were: (1) data reduction;(2) datadisplay;and (3) data verification.
The results of this research are: First, the implementation of 2013 curriculum
management at SDN 394 Sakkoli, Sajoanging District, Wajo Regency covers :(1) teachers
found difficulties in implementing the 2013 curriculum;(2) seminar and/or training about
2013 curriculum was never conducted holistically and comprehensively .Second,the
implementation of 2013 curriculum was getting better procedurally because the school had
conducted seminar and training about the implementation of 2013 curriculum. However, in
implementing 2013 curriculum, teachers were still not optimal in conducting authentic
assessment because they were lack of knowledge and ability using IT. It meant, some
teachers were still unable to assess the process and the results of the learning-teaching
.Finally, the efforts conducted to solve the problems are: (1) conducting workshop and/or
training related to 2013 curriculum; (2)taking the advantages of KKG in every subject in
order to decrease the problem in making lesson plan.
The implication of this research are: (1) the necessity to conduct teachers training
related to 2013 curriculum at SDN 394 Sakkoli, Sajoanging District, Wajo Regency
holistically and comprehensively to get more knowledge on 2013 curriculum;(2) the
importance of win-win collaboration with book publishers to fulfill book-needed based 2013
curriculum; (3) teachers should increase their ability in understanding and applying 2013
curriculum.
