TESIS:APLIKASI KURIKULUM TINGKAT SATUAN PENDIDIKAN (KTSP) DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM PADA SMA NEGERI 1 PAMMANA KECAMATAN PAMMANA KABUPATEN WAJO

This research was the study about the application of KTSP which specially
intended to show how the application of KTSP into learning system done by the PAI
teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Pammana Kecamatan Pammana Kabupaten Wajo which
aimed to get information and clarity about: 1) The Application of Curriculum of
Educational Unit Level (KTSP) in Religion Subject; 2) The Readiness of the
Teachers in applying KTSP in Religion Subject; and 3) The Problems Faced by The
School and the Religion Teacher in Applying KTSP.
This research used descriptive analysis technique with qualitative approach.
The data collecting method were observation, interview, documentation and
questionnaire. The data source used in this research consist of primary and secundery
data. Technique data analysis was done interactively through data reduction process,
data presentation, data verification, and conclusion.
The result of the research was that the KTSP at SMA Negeri 1 Pammana has
been done in all grades. But the readiness of the teacher to apply KTSP has not been
maximal. It because there are some problem namely teachers’ understanding and
ability still minim in activating students in using various learning methods and
empowering the learning sources.
The implication of the result of the research in increasing the quality of
education at SMA Negeri 1 Pammana needs cooperation among Principle, Vice
Principle of Curriculum and all teachers in one team work at school to the
achievement of full application of KTSP. The cooperation among teachers is also
very important in order to solve the problems in related with learning processes so
that the teacher are able to improve and increase their creativities in designing
learning in the class by using modern learning method and technique so that the
students are interested to study
